Drawing up a drinking water supply master plan for Greater Antananarivo
The project is part of the Madagascar Drinking Water Access Improvement Project (PAAEP), a US$220 million World Bank programme. It aims to develop a new water supply master plan for Greater Antananarivo, covering not only the Urban Community of Antananarivo (AUC) with its 6 districts, but also 35 surrounding communes grouped into three districts (Ambohidratrimo, Antananarivo Avaradrano, and Antananarivo Atsimondrano). Project carried out in collaboration with our sister company Urbaconsulting.
The aim : is to provide JIRAMA and MEAH with a long-term investment planning tool to ensure the population has access to safe drinking water, taking into account both the city’s growth and the impacts of climate change.
