Mid-term evaluation of a multi-country water, hygiene and sanitation programme for One Drop
This assignment was part of the US$25 million « Lazos de Agua » programme funded by One Drop, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Coca-Cola and FEMSA foundations. Lazos de Agua aims to improve access to safe drinking water and sanitation and promote hygiene measures for about 200,000 people in Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua and Paraguay by 2021. The programme introduces an innovative approach (SABC, Social Art for Behaviour Change) into the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector and develops its projects based on One Drop’s ‘A-B-C for Sustainability’ model (Access, Behaviour change & Capital).
Type of service provide :
Mid-term evaluation of the Lazos de Agua multi-country water, hygiene and sanitation programme to inform strategic decisions for the second phase of the programme (identification of strengths and weaknesses, evaluation of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency, and formulation of recommendations).
- Developing the evaluation methodology and data collection tools, and preparing ethical protocols;
- Presenting the preliminary results at a meeting in Guanajuato (Mexico) attended by all programme stakeholders;
- Preparing the mid-term evaluation report;
- Collecting and analysing data in the 5 programme countries;
- Facilitating a feedback workshop, including presenting the report and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
