Evaluation of the UNESCO International Hydrological Programme Flagship Initiatives
The UNESCO International Hydrological Programme is a global science and education programme that is coordinating 15 flagship initiatives to enhance research, information sharing and cooperation on hydrological issues around the world, namely by: quantifying, describing, mapping and promoting the sharing of surface and underground water resources.
Type of service provide :
We were appointed to conduct the external evaluation of the 15 flagship initiatives conducted by the International Hydrological Programme in order to identify which initiatives should be further developed, modified or terminated. Our evaluation work includes:
- Developing the evaluation matrix and data collection tools;
- Conducting an in-depth document review and bibliometric analysis;
- Conducting qualitative interviews;
- Administering an online survey;
- Producing findings and recommendations;
- Presenting and discussing the results at a meeting with the IHP executive committee;
- Providing recommendations for improving the monitoring and impact of the flagship initiatives.
